Currently live in 23 countries with a top Global Insurer and integrated with 20+ top ⅓ distribution partners, recently backed by a Singapore listed company we are expanding and we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to manage a growing development team.

Your Role:

The AWS DevOps Engineer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and enhancing the company’s AWS-based infrastructure. This role focuses on ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of the system environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Patch Management: Apply patches to servers on a monthly basis or as necessary.
  • Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance tasks on system components including required hardware and software updates / upgrades.
  • Deployment: Set up and deploy application components as needed including required configurations and scripts.
  • DevOps Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve existing DevOps processes.
  • Account Management: Manage privileged user accounts for servers, databases, and other infrastructure components.
  • Security Compliance: Ensure all AWS services comply with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and data privacy laws.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Write, test, and maintain IaC templates to automate the provisioning and management of our platforms.
  • Container Management: Maintain and manage Docker / Kubernetes environments to ensure application portability and scalability.
  • Monitoring and Alerts: Implement and manage monitoring solutions for system performance and security.
  • Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for system configurations, inventory, and procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with technical, security, and development teams to enforce best practices and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in DevOps, with at least 3 years focused on AWS.
  • Demonstrated expertise in patch management, inventory control, and system maintenance.
  • Proven experience in implementing and managing Infrastructure as Code
  • Hands-on experience in managing high-availability environments with multiple applications.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in scripting languages like Python.
  • Expertise in automation tools like Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies, especially Docker / Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline.
  • Solid experience of monitoring and alerting tools such as CloudWatch or DataDog.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively across IT, Security, and Development teams.
